My fellow colleagues know that I have not gone for yum cha since I got here, they decided to show me the best place for yum cha in the city. We went to West Lake last Sunday…hmm.. Perhaps the Sunday before last Sunday. (Oppss.. lazy me kept delaying in blogging the review). West Lake is located at Little Bourke Street in the city; it is Inge and Gina’s favorite place for yum cha.

West Lake’s interior looks like other Chinese restaurants; there is the usual red color in most of the decorations. It was crowded and noisy even thought it was about 2.00pm when we reached there. We were so hungry when we reached there, imagine four “little” women ordered a table full of dishes.. haha.. Yeah, I must admit we are so greedy when it comes to food. The dishes were great!! Sorry , the pictures are a bit blurry as I was so eager to dine in, and I was so hungry until I can’t get my hand to hold the camera properly ;-p

The food and the experience was so damn good, even though it is different with what I used to have back at home, but it was a good experience. Thanks gals for your guidance in looking for good food.. Yeah.. Jalan Jalan Cari Makan!! Next time we should try Yolanda’s favorite restaurant – Shark Fin House!!

The tim sum still good?
For West Lake i didnt really tried there much. Most of our time are spent in King. But i believe sharks fins house should be the best albeit it is pricey.
It is always a pleasure to read ur blog... before i take my lunch or dinner... hehe

Nice photos, I recon the best Dim Sum in Melbourne is on Blackburn Road, Doncaster East - Taipan. It is crowded during weekend, better book earlier..
Better be good, I'm gonna take my girl there now thanks to your recommendation. :)
Ok I went there - awesome, thank you.
So busy we had to wait a few minutes for a table but was great.
